ISAAC ROSS
Assistant Engineer
Isaac is Trackdown’s newest assistant studio engineer. Coming from a 10+ year percussive background in live music touring, Isaac branched out to complete a Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production, focusing on Sound, at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS). After successfully completing an Industry Placement elective with Trackdown, Isaac has continued to refine his audio engineering skills across the board while at the studio.
Since starting full-time at Trackdown, Isaac has assisted with studio setups, operating the scoring stage’s communications systems, prepping sessions and running Pro Tools on ADR recording sessions, and smaller scale music projects and performances.
With a focus on sound design and score recording across music, television and film, Isaac’s recent assistant engineering credits include Marvel’s "Echo” and "What If...?", "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga", “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes”, “World of Warcraft”, and “Star Wars: Visions”, along with a number of album recordings, commercial recordings and more.
