In honour of the late Simon Leadley (a founder of Trackdown), the Trackdown Scoring Stage was renamed The Simon Leadley Scoring Stage on 28th October 2010
The Simon Leadley Scoring Stage is Australia's premier purpose-built Orchestral Scoring Stage. Located adjacent to Fox Studios, the scoring stage can accommodate all recording needs for solo artists, bands, film, television and commercials, including voice overs and large scale orchestral recordings. We have the highest quality equipment to ensure that your session is world class.
At 440sq metres (4,800sq foot) with 10 metre (30 foot) high ceilings, the Main Hall can comfortably hold over 100 musicians. The facility includes a 5.1 Monitoring Control/Mix Room, 2 Isolation Booths (both overlooking the Control Room and Main Hall), Musicians' Green Room and a comfortable outdoor recreation area.
Films Scores recorded at Trackdown include The Lego Batman Movie, The Shallows, Ali's Wedding, Gods of Egypt, Open Season 4, Truth, The Disappointments Room, The Moon & The Sun, The Lego Movie, Mad Max: Fury Road, Happy Feet 1 and 2, The Railway Man, Daybreakers and Knowing.
Artists who have worked at Trackdown include Coldplay, Will.I.Am, Justin Bieber, Ryan Tedder, Delta Goodrem, Pavarotti, Tori Amos and Aerosmith.
